Multidisciplinary team for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of cystic fibrosis patients.
The Cystic Fibrosis Ward consists of a multidisciplinary team: physicians (pediatricians and internist), physiotherapist, nurses and psychologist. Diagnosis is established, outpatient patients are treated and followed up, and inpatient treatment is provided in isolation. Comprehensive healthcare is organized covering all aspects — psychosocial health, nutritional status and physiotherapy. New methods and medications are introduced with the aim of providing a better quality of life for patients with cystic fibrosis.
