Biography
Prof. Dr. Tatjana Jakovska is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and a specialist pediatrician with extensive clinical and scientific work in the field of cystic fibrosis in children, based at the University Clinic for Respiratory Diseases in Children "Kozle". She is President of the Macedonian Pediatric Respiratory Association (MPRA) and has organized international symposia in pediatric pulmonology. She is the author of the book "Vitamin D and Respiratory Health" and numerous scientific papers published in PubMed-indexed international journals, including research on the cystic fibrosis mutation spectrum in North Macedonia and bone metabolism in children with CF. Her work has established the Kozle Cystic Fibrosis Center as the only specialized center for this disease in the country.
