Ward A for acute and chronic diseases in infants and preschool children carries out diagnostic workup and treatment of acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, congenital and acquired respiratory diseases, and recurrent lower respiratory tract infections. The department also covers infant nutrition — monitoring, counseling and feeding plans, maternal education — proper growth and development, early diagnosis and treatment of rickets, and differential diagnosis of recurrent bronchial obstructions and asthma in infancy and early childhood.
