Diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases of the respiratory tract, skin, and food allergies in children.
The department treats respiratory diseases in children: allergological diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, allergic rhinitis, laryngitis, skin allergic diseases (atopic dermatitis and urticaria), food and drug allergies, reflux disease in infants and young children, and complications of the respiratory tract from gastroesophageal reflux. Respiratory tract infections are also treated. The department also covers care and treatment of infants with GER: post-prandial regurgitation, vomiting and aspiration syndrome. The main focus is managing nutritional allergies in childhood.
